Genesis 16 & 21
Her circumstances made her flee into the desert where she came face to face with God. She took off the jacket of hurt and humiliation and surrendered to God, the Lion of Judah. He is always there to look after us with love and understanding through His loving eyes. 
Hagar opened her arms and surrendered to God.  With this action, she could go back and face her situation. She chose to live in His light. When she surrendered to God, she started to live in His glory. 
The golden cloud around her symbolizes oil. Like the ten wise women, they provided for the unforeseen. But why didn’t they share their oil like a good ‘Christian’ would? The oil represents the Holy Spirit. We must fill ourselves regularly with Him. We can share our light but we cannot share our oil. Everybody is responsible for their oil. You can ask the Holy Spirit any time of the day or night to fill you. 
Now is the time to get rid of that filth in your life. Now is the time to open yourself and to live in His glory. Are you ready for your change?
