To be raped is a life-changing experience which cuts deep into the heart and mind of the victim. Words can also rape people on the inside.
 
Tamar tore her clothes after she was raped. 
But Jesus came to shed His blood so that we can be dressed in all His beauty.
 
Life constantly shoots arrows at us, but when we are filled with Jesus, it can hurt us, but it would never penetrate us and cause spiritual death. 
One day we will see all the arrows that Jesus broke to protect us.
 
It does not help to stay in our cocoon of pain. We have to make work of our issues in life. If not, our issues will make work of us. 
 
Butterflies are symbolic of transformation and once we manage to break out of this cocoon, the most beautiful butterflies will emerge.
